Escape To Country Retreat
Terms & Conditions
This Agreement is made between you (“the Participant”) and Temple of Divine Intelligence, facilitated by Shani Faye Chambers and Emma Romano (“the Facilitators”), and relates to your booking and participation in Escape to the Country – A Nervous System Reset & Recalibration (“the Retreat”).
1. Nature of the Retreat
I acknowledge that this Retreat is a transformational, educational, and personal development experience.
It is not psychological counselling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. No guarantees are made regarding results, healing, emotional outcomes, or well-being.
I understand that my experience and results depend on my own participation, openness, and personal circumstances.
2. Personal Responsibility
I understand and acknowledge that I am fully responsible for my own emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, and relational well-being during and after the Retreat.
The Facilitators make no guarantees that I will:
• Heal specific emotional or psychological conditions
• Experience any specific outcome
• Achieve any personal, relational, or life results
I take full responsibility for my choices, participation, and integration.
3. Emotional & Somatic Processes
I understand that Retreat activities may involve emotional, somatic, and personal processes that can feel confronting or triggering.
I acknowledge that:
• Emotional responses are a normal part of healing and growth
• I am responsible for managing my own emotional state
• I will communicate respectfully if I require support
4. Health & Medical Disclaimer
I confirm that:
• I am physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to participate
• I will inform the Facilitators of any relevant medical or psychological conditions prior to the Retreat
• I will seek appropriate medical or professional support where required
I understand that the Facilitators are not medical or mental health professionals and do not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.
5. Travel & Accommodation Responsibility
I understand that:
• I am responsible for arranging my own travel to and from the Retreat location unless otherwise stated
• I am responsible for any additional personal expenses outside of what is included
• I must arrive and depart within the specified Retreat times
6. Inclusions & Dietary Requirements
I understand that Retreat inclusions (including accommodation, meals, and activities) will be outlined prior to the Retreat.
If I have dietary requirements or allergies, I agree to notify the Facilitators in advance.
7. Intellectual Property
All materials, processes, teachings, modalities, and resources shared during the Retreat remain the intellectual property of Shani Faye Chambers and Emma Romano / Temple of Divine Intelligence.
These materials must not be:
• Copied
• Shared
• Distributed
• Reproduced
• Sold or used commercially
…without written consent.
8. Confidentiality
I agree to maintain full confidentiality of all personal information shared by other participants during the Retreat.
This includes:
• Conversations
• Personal stories
• Emotional experiences
Confidentiality must be upheld both during and after the Retreat.
9. Recording & Media
I understand that photos, videos, or recordings may be taken during the Retreat for educational or promotional purposes.
By attending, I consent to this use unless I notify the Facilitators in writing prior to the Retreat.
10. Payments & Non-Refundable Policy
All Retreat payments are strictly non-refundable.
I understand that:
• My deposit secures my place and is non-refundable
• All payments made are final and cannot be refunded under any circumstances
• This includes change of mind, illness, personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, or inability to attend
By booking, I commit fully to my place in the Retreat.
11. Cancellations & Transfers
I understand that:
• All payments are strictly non-refundable, including for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal circumstances
• If I am unable to attend, I forfeit my payment
However:
• At the Facilitators’ discretion, my payment may be transferred to future offerings or private sessions with either facilitator
• Any such transfer must be arranged directly with the Facilitators
• The structure, timing, and format will be determined by the Facilitators
12. Payment Plans & Outstanding Payments
If I choose a payment plan, I agree to:
• Complete all payments on time
• Maintain a valid payment method
If payments are not completed:
• My place may be cancelled
• Outstanding balances may be referred to debt collection
• I am responsible for any associated fees
13. Conduct & Behaviour
I agree to behave respectfully, ethically, and appropriately at all times.
Any behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate may result in removal from the Retreat without refund.
14. Schedule Changes
I understand that the Facilitators may make reasonable changes to:
• Schedule
• Activities
• Facilitators
• Delivery format
These changes do not entitle me to a refund.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I release and indemnify the Facilitators from any liability for:
• Emotional or psychological impact
• Injury, illness, or physical discomfort
• Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
• Travel disruptions or external circumstances
I acknowledge that I participate at my own risk and take full responsibility for my well-being.
16. Force Majeure
The Facilitators are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events outside of their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, or travel disruptions.
If the Retreat cannot proceed as planned due to such circumstances, no refunds will be provided.
However, the Participant’s payment may be transferred to:
• A future Retreat, or
• Alternative offerings or private sessions
Any such transfer will be arranged at the Facilitators’ discretion.
17. Agreement
By booking and attending the Retreat, I confirm that I have read, understood, and fully agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the strict no-refund policy.
